ROUTE: VT-100
DISTANCE: 200 miles

Running along the eastern edge of the Green Mountains, the Scenic Route 100 Byway is one of the best scenic drives in New England. It's been recognized by Yankee Magazine as one of “the most scenic in New England.” The great thing about driving this road is that it virtually covers the entire state in a route that runs north and south. You'll pass through charming New England towns and villages as you drive alongside the gorgeous Green Mountains in autumn. The rolling farmlands are picturesque, as are the stunning vast flowering fields. The road pavement quality is also exceptional for Vermont. See all that Vermont has to offer on one fantastic scenic drive.
If coming from the south, begin Scenic Route 100 off of VT-9 in Wilmington, VT. The road will travel north all the way close to the Canadian border.

The Molly Stark Byway on Vermont Route 9 carves its way in the southern portion of the state. There's some great mountain scenery on this great driving road in Vermont as you navigate the elevation grade changes and wide curves. Be sure to stop at the overlook near West Marlboro for an especially high view of the mountains.
Start Vermont Route 9 in Brattleboro, and drive west to the junction of Route 7 in Bennington, VT.

If you're looking for a challenging road to test your driving skills, this is the Vermont scenic drive for you! VT-17 is a great driving road in Vermont near Appalachian Gap. Vermont Route 17 boasts 53 turns in just 7 miles. Navigate these corners with caution and enjoy the views for an exhilarating drive. This is one of the best driving roads in Vermont for sports cars, as the entire road is a mix of hairpin turns at extreme elevation changes to vast farmlands leading to the Lake Champlain Bridge on the NY border.

One of the best driving roads in Vermont for sports cars is VT-102. Vermont Route 102 travels from Canaan in the north to Lancaster, NH to the south. It's an overall smooth cruising road as you pass scenic farmland, rolling hills and Connecticut River views. The Connecticut River Byway travels on sections of VT-102. Keep an eye out for the blind corners, but it's mostly a delightfully fun driving road in Vermont with it curves and open countryside scenery.

Smugglers Notch is a scenic highway along Vermont Route 108 which takes the driver through a narrow pass with fun, tight turns. The route also features large boulders on the side of the road and steep cliffs. VT-108 is a great driving road for Polaris Slingshots and sports cars because not only are there fun curves to navigate, but there's also scenic overlooks to take advantage of the mountain views. The road is so narrow there's actually size restrictions on what cars can actually travel on it. Don't miss the fun driving road on Smugglers Notch Scenic Hwy!
For a fun ride through Smuggler's Notch State Park, take Route 108 from Jeffersonville, VT to Stowe, VT.

Vermont Scenic Route 105 is a great driving road in the very northern part of the state. This scenic drive through the "Northeast Kingdom” of VT will take you through charming towns, clear lakes and inspiring mountain views. It's a great road for driving with a sports car because there's fun, sweeping curves as well as open, scenic straight-a-ways. While the scenic road is just under 100 miles in length, continue travelling west on VT-78 across Lake Champlain for more great driving. VT Scenic Route 105 is an exceptionally good driving road that offers picturesque Vermont country scenery at its best!
Vermont Scenic Route 105 travels across the entire length of the state from U.S. Route 7 in St. Albans in the west to the New Hampshire state line in Bloomfield.
