GREAT DRIVING ROADS IN INDIANA

ROUTE: IN-62
DISTANCE: 71 miles

This great driving road in Indiana travels east and west near the Kentucky state line. Part of IN-62 has been designated as the Ohio River Scenic Byway, and the road features fun curves along with enjoyable elevation changes. This is a fun driving road for sports cars and Slingshot riders, as the drive will carry you through the dense Harrison-Crawford State Forest as well as the scenic O'Bannon Woods State Park. 

This route is in eastern Indiana, and can be started in Maplewood. Head west on Route 62 for 70 miles into Dale, IN.

ROUTE: IN-66

DISTANCE: 72 miles
TIME: 1.5 hour

Indiana Route 66 includes the southern portion of the Ohio River Scenic Byway, and this is one of the best driving roads in Indiana. The road pavement condition is very smooth and IN-66 offers an abundance of fun turns and sweepers to keep you entertained with a sports car or Polaris Slingshot. There's also some moderate elevation changes to go along with the curves. This roadway is a great extension of the previous Route 62 driving road mentioned above. If you're looking to find driving roads in southern Indiana, be sure to check out the Ohio River Scenic Byway along IN-66!

Start in Tell City, Indiana and drive 72 miles on IN-66 to where the road meets with Hwy 150.

To find driving roads in Indiana, start this route near the entrance of McCormick's Creek State Park in Spencer, IN. IN-43 traverses scenic hills, and it's a great driving road for sports cars. This country road offers lots of twisting curves, so spirited drivers will enjoy driving here along with the elevation changes among the hills.

This great driving road in Indiana can be started just off IN-46 near Spenser, IN. Drive south 24 miles to where the road ends at E State Rd 54.

IN-135 is a great driving road in Indiana for sports cars and Slingshot riders, as it's an enjoyable cruise that features curvy turns among the hills. It's a narrow road through scenic farmland and wooded forests. The scenery is great, and most drivers will experience little traffic on Salt Creek Rd and Sweetwater Dr.

Indiana Route 62 is a nice driving road that traverses most of the state. The route mentioned above form Dale to Maplewood is one of the best sections to drive a sports car. But another great little scenic drive on the same road is from Dillsboro to Madison. This route features an abundance of twisties, making it a perfect road for sports cars and Slingshot riders. Drivers will love the turns and curves as you travel through the forests and farmlands of southern Indiana.

DISTANCE: 21 miles
TIME: 30 mins

This great driving road in Indiana will take the sports car driver close to Indiana Dunes National Park. The road offers a drive along 3 miles of the scenic, dune-lined shores, While most of this route is a straight cruising road, it features a variety of flora and fauna.

This great driving road in Indiana begins on US-12 near Michigan City. Drive 21 miles west to where the road meets with US-20.
